N6ATFWouldn't there have to be a vectorization if it's a filetype like JPG, not already in vector format?

Richard BatemanThere are various options; I could embed a raster image, it just wouldn't look as good. I think the first level for this will just let you generate a signature from one of several fonts.

N6ATFIf you wanted to get super fancy you could have us go to https://www.calligraphr.com & create fonts from our own handwriting. ;-)

Darrell Carothers VE2246E N5FTWIf you could generate a signature from Paint or others as a .png file it might work. I think J saw that Exam Tools saves signatures as a .png. It would look a lot more professional for the candidates 605. Thanks for all the work you do on the program.

AsunaUpvoted this! Given how important the signature is, I feel it'd be beneficial to have a way to upload a more legible signature.

Richard BatemanWhile I don't disagree with the usefulness of the signature. it's worth noting that literally the only reason it matters what it looks like is for the CSCE we give to the applicant; the visual representation is not the legal signature, the legal signature is simply the digital record showing that you intentionally signed it.

Heather KM6ZQBThe easiest way to add a nice signature is to login on phone or tablet and add signature. Then resume using whatever computer you normally use for testing.

K4TFJ MergedCreating a signature with a mouse can be hard and ugly to look at, However, many apps allow you to upload a signature that you have scanned in and cropped from normal paper.
