Auto Assign with the first action item
Just a thought..... Is there a way that when you do the first action item to admit the person into the session that it can auto assign the person to the VE like the other item do. Thanks!! 73

I second this! I always forget to go back and add myself. -

Brendan KeyportNot good for our situation in either VE teams I work in.
We have the lead VE go in and randomly assign after everyone is checked in. Having a random assignment feature would be better IMO. -

michael wt9vThere are more important things that need to be done, like dates on sessions when moving people to another session.

Heather KM6ZWe have the VEs who handle the applicant sign for the applicant. Randomly assigned VEs would be a nightmare for us remotely. Who certifies is pretty obvious in a remote session as it is usually the VEs in the room, but for us in-person, it definitely isn't the person who allows them in. It is were, then we would have to unassign that person each time. In our particular work flow, it is typically the person who starts, the person who grades and the person who helps them with the paperwork at the end. Depending on the location, it could differ for me and even the way ET assigns the person who started/graded is a problem at times. Someone might be doing all the grading and can't keep up with grading and signing. And there are many more VEs just standing around watching applicants who have time to sign for the applicant.

Chrissy, KC8UFVJust a thought, perhaps an alternative option with this - have it so if there's an unassigned VE slot on an applicant, any VE can sign, and it assigns them... This would give the best of both worlds - an admin of the session could say these 3 VEs are handling this applicant, or they could leave it until time to sign...
